The slightly salty PB had a rather thin consistency but it had bits of crunchy peanuts inside, making it a lil more fun to eat 😋 The waffle was leaning towards the thin side and it had a nice golden crisp to it 👌🏻 But because the waffle wasn’t thick enough, it didn’t have much chew 👉🏻👈🏻 Overall, it was a pretty decent waffle but I wouldn’t really travel all the way here to get this 😬. Instead, I would try out their buns as they had a wide variety that was pretty unique! For example, they had peanut, rendang chicken, and a few mochi buns!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 📍Thousand Deli 💵 $2.30 Ratings: Amazeballs 😋 This waffle ah… played with my emotions 🤣🤣🤣 In my first few bites (right after it was made), I was a tad disappointed as the pandan flavour was rather faint despite its green hue, and the waffle was more on the crispy side and had a tiny bit of chewiness to it (~80:20 ratio) making it rather dry in texture 😳 👉🏻👈🏻 BUTTTT after letting it cool for about 20 minutes, the texture of the waffle become MUCH better as it was chewier but ngl it took me awhile to chew before swallowing 😂😂😂 (chewier than kueh kinda texture) On the bright side, I was really happy with the generous slap of salty and smooth peanut butter HAHAHA 🤪💕 Overall it wasn’t a bad waffle but for $2.30? Maybe if there ain’t other waffles available 😬 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 📍 Dough in Jungle 💵 $2.20 Ratings: Can-can 😬 Tbh I was quite disappointed by the thickness and spread generosity considering that it was $2.20 👉🏻👈🏻 The waffle crust was rather crisp and the crumb had a cake-like texture (I.e., not chewy), which made the overall waffle rather dry, thin, and not as satisfying 🫢 In addition, the peanut butter could have been more generous, and despite it’s bright green colour, I couldn’t taste the pandan at all 🥲 Overall, I wouldn’t really come back for the waffles again but the doughnuts seem pretty cute 😂 #SGFoodie
